Our Story

How It Started

We serendipitously first laid eyes on each other at my best man, Ayo's elder brother's wedding reception, back in 2016; Little did we know on that day, that we would go far beyond just trading quirky memes and comedic clips with one another, partaking in marathon early morning and late-night calls, alongside several momentous outings — and that we'd be eventually gifted with the joy of spending the rest of our lives together. 🥹👫🏾

How It’s Going

Our relationship has gracefully evolved from being close friends (“cho cho cho padis”) 😆, to confidants, to now —intricately planning with God’s help, the rest of our beautiful lives together.

Ceremony & Reception

Our church ceremony will begin promptly at 1:00 PM ET. This is the most meaningful part of our day, and we’d be honored to have you there as we exchange our vows. Please plan to arrive early & park, so everyone is seated before the ceremony begins - (No Naija timing, please, 🙂🙏🏾)

The reception will follow immediately afterward at the same venue — we look forward to celebrating with you!

Can I bring a plus-one?

Due to space and budget constraints, plus-ones are limited to those explicitly mentioned on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding as we focus on celebrating with our nearest and dearest.

Are children invited?

Only children named on the invitation can attend, as our venue’s logistics restrict the number of young guests. We adore kids and hope to have our own soon—but kindly arrange childcare for the day.

Where can I park?

Paid parking is available both above and below ground at Westlake Phase II, 2200 Lakeshore Blvd W, Etobicoke.

What’s the dress code?

Dress to impress in your elegant traditional attire, featuring our wedding colors: Sage green with a touch of Gold.

Is the event indoors or outdoors?

Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors at Westlake Phase II.

Can I take photos or videos during the wedding?

Absolutely! We’d love for you to capture candid moments during the ceremony and reception to share with us via Wedding Guests Feed Upload QR Code on the reception program. Please refrain from going out to the terrace/patio, as those areas are restricted.
